Mélange Boutique
Mélange Boutique is an e-commerce fashion company that has humble beginnings from starting off with two sisters and a dream. They were fortunate to turn their business into the first-ever mobile boutique within their hometown and further grow and transform their brand as Mélange Boutique to Mélange Fashion Brand.
I took on the role as a 16-year-old high school student that loved to create and help others (and also had an affinity towards fashion), I saw the opportunity through a family friend via social media when they welcomed me to the brand. I felt that I could aid the brand with an improved logo, and decided to reach out first.
With creating the logo at a faily young age, and it serving the company for a few years, I am truly proud of my younger self to take on a project and deliver something the client got to use to help grow their brand.
Although I look back at this memory proudly, I do wish there was some things that I could change.
One would be to look into contracts or copyrights, as I did sell it for a simple $20. I may be looking back at this monetary loss, but I do remember this act as an act of wanting to use my skills to help out another person chasing their own dreams.
Truly a fun project that I got to take part in, and I am extremely proud of where the company is today.
